The Light of the World

the-light-of-the-world1

Painting by William Holman Hunt (1854)

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelations 3:20)

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror, then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part, then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.   (I Corinthians 13:12)

    Amy, what an excellent idea!

The Corinthians quote is important to me. It is a reminder that, how ever much I’d like to, my poor finite little brain is incapable of working out all the answers.

The other one is a reminder that God will not enter our lives unless we invite him in.
